For the second week in a row, Brooke picks a song that fits her perfectly. She keeps a hint of the Pat Benatar attitude, loses the Idol band, and delivers an intimate, wounded performance from the edge of the stage. For proving that her persona—she's a delicate snowflake of folk—can adapt to all sorts of styles, it's easily the most intelligent performance of the season. It's one of the best, too.
